lyrics
Rub your tongue against the chip of my tooth
All it needs is just a spot of glue
When we were young, we were a sight to see
Now we are old and I can barely breathe
You've been waiting on me such a long, long time
Hoping that I'd change, but I still stayed the same
I'd be lying if I said I hadn't tried
I tried, I'm just the same guy
Rub your tongue against the chip of my tooth
All it needs is just a touch from you
When we were young, we were a sight to see
Now we're old and I can barely breathe
You've been waiting on me such a long, long time
Hoping that I'd change, but I still stayed the same
I'd be lying if I said I hadn't tried
I tried, I'm just the same guy
I don't know anymore
I don't know anymore
I thought you'd be the one
But I don't know anymore
Been listening to this album pretty frequently since picking it up. Really like the singer's voice and lyrics. A+.
I really hope they play NYC sometime! jjj
A new album of perfect low-key gems from Kim Weldin of Tape Waves' unassuming bedroom pop side project Shiny Times. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 15, 2019
Sweetly melancholy bedroom pop is rarely as actually vulnerable and personal as it is in this Australian artist's hands. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 21, 2018
Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound.
Also I like the acoustic songs.
I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
It´s hanging on my wall since that day :) Ninehundredninetynine
